Wereldhave lets Josef II building in Brussels

Belgium Sicafi Wereldhave have let the Josef II building to the European Union. The building, in the centre of the European district in Brussels, has been empty since its renovation in 1998.

It will now be occupied by the European anti-fraud organisation. The building will be leased for 27 years and three months for some €4.2m this covers the 18,538 m² of offices and 8,00 m² of parking space. The EU will fit out the building at the cost of €6m.

Wereldhave also announced revenues of €19.3m in 1999, of which €17.9m was rental income. The company produced a net return of €16.4m, compared with €14.7m in 1998. A gross dividend of €3.07 will be distributed from the 26 May.
