Scottish entrepreneur Tom Hunter has teamed up with Bank of Scotland and property company LxB for a £300m retail warehouse joint venture in the UK.
The venture aims to redevelop existing out-of-town retail warehousing projects, in light of the UK planning regime’s restrictions on new schemes.
Hunter’s investment will be made through his private equity group West Coast Capital, which has invested £1bn in property. LBX is run by former Grantchester chief executive Tim Walton.
