Westfield bags bundle of lettings

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has signed a series of new letting deals at Westfield Stratford City and Westfield London.

Westfield London in White City, W12, has signed a deal with furniture brand King Living to lease 4,715 sq ft at the centre until 2034. The store will open in autumn this year.

Stationery brand Kenji has taken 3,729 sq ft for 10 years.

Meanwhile, clothing brand Khaadi is relocating in the shopping centre and expanding from 1,656 sq ft to 6,167 sq ft.

At Westfield Stratford City, E20, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty has taken 2,667 sq ft for a lease term of 10 years. The store opened this week.

Victoria’s Secret and Next are set to reopen with new stores at the centre this autumn.

Additionally, Australian sleepwear designer Peter Alexander has signed leases for both Westfield locations, marking the brand’s UK debut.

F&B signings include US burger chain Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, which will open its first UK store later this year, along with Mowgli Street Food and Aija.

Kate Orwin, leasing director UK at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “We’ve had a strong half-year in retail leasing across both of our London centres, significantly driven by the food and beverage sector.

“The addition of these reputable brands to our portfolio has significantly contributed to this growth, as major brands recognise the value of our prime locations and invest in providing unique and engaging dining experiences.”

JLL acted for Westfield on the letting deals.
