Australian developer Westfield and Irish developer Snoddons have got the go-ahead for an additional 527,210 sq ft of retail space at Sprucefield Park, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
The extension will include a 240,000 sq ft John Lewis department store John Lewis’s first in Northern Ireland – 21,800 sq ft of restaurant space, 29 smaller shop units and a five-level car park.
The shopping centre already provides 500,000 sq ft of retail space and a further 123,000 sq ft has already been approved but not built.
Tenants at the shopping centre include Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and B&Q.
