Westminster city council plans to increase the number of applications given an “early-view” by the planning committee in a bid to speed up the planning process.
Applications have been sent to committee without a recommendation from a planning officer 30 times since the idea was introduced in 1998.
Huw Moseley, director of planning at JLL, warned: “Lets hope that members understand the purpose of this initiative.”
