Westmont to sell Ealing hotel

Hilton-logo-THUMBWestmont Hospitality Group is selling the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ealing, West London, for £40m – a 5% yield.

Westmont originally acquired the asset as a Ramada hotel under a franchise agreement, and refurbished and rebranded the hotel to the Hilton brand in 2013 alongside the DoubleTree by Hilton Hyde Park, which it also owns.

Westmont Hospitality Group is also selling the Lowry Hotel in Manchester for £60m and is in advanced talks to buy the DoubleTree by Hilton in Westminster, SW1, for £190m.

The Ontario-based hospitality firm first bought the two London Ramada hotels in 2012 from Lincourt Capital for a combined £75m.

JLL is advising Westmont.
