Weston Homes has bought a five-acre residential development site in Dunstable, Hertfordshire, from the Ashton Schools Foundation.
The Ashton Middle School is due to close in August and the sale of the site will generate funds that will be reinvested in the other two schools under the Ashton Schools Foundation.
The site contains Grade II listed buildings, and Weston Homes will now liaise closely with the foundation, the council and the local community to create project proposals for the site.
