The 1bn Europa Fund has prelet 8,300m2 of warehouse and office space at Westpoint Distribution Point in Prague to Welz Spedition.
In a separate deal, a Czech logistics company has leased a 1,300m2 building at the park with an option to double the size of the property through expansion on adjoining land.
The 60,000m2 redevelopment is on the western side of the city, and rents achieved on the warehouse space are above 4m per m2 a month.
Europa bought the park in May 2002 as part of a drive into the city. It also controls 81ha of land off Prague’s D8 and D1 highways, with potential for 340,000m2 of development.
