Investor and developer Westrock has bought the 110,000 sq ft Merton Centre office in Bedford for residential conversion.
The building will be reconfigured to include 160 apartments with 200 parking spaces, a gym and high street retail.
The project is expected to launch at the end of 2015 and will take Westrock’s PRS pipeline to more than 1,500 units over the next 24 months.
