WeWork has abandoned plans to lease space at Canary Wharf Group’s 7 Westferry Circus, E14.
The world’s largest co-working start-up has pulled out of talks to take 45,000 sq ft at the 159,470 sq ft building, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2016.
It is the first time WeWork has pulled back on plans to lease space in the capital. It is understood the decision was not primarily driven by the UK’s vote to leave the European Union.
WeWork declined to comment.
JLL, CBRE and GM Real Estate are joint leasing agents on 7 Westferry Circus.
