WeWork exec joins VTS as part of nine-strong team expansion

Technology platform VTS has announced nine new appointments to its UK team including real estate veteran John Campbell, who joins as senior director.

Campbell (pictured), who will also take on the role of market activation manager, joins VTS from WeWork, where he was head of global referrals. He has also worked at Lambert Smith Hampton and DTZ.

Campbell is part of a number of new hires for the tech company as it pulls together a team focused on accelerating the UK roll-out of its marketing and leasing platform, VTS Market.

The nine new appointments come after VTS, which manages more than 12bn sq ft of commercial real estate assets worldwide on the platform, encompassing office, retail and industrial properties, doubled its UK headcount in 2021.

The other eight appointments will see Manisha Patel join VTS as senior implementation manager; Adeola Fari-Arole as implementation manager and Will Curtis as content coordinator for VTS Market; Rob Cruess Callaghan and Chris Hill as client advisers; John Milner as integrations and API support adviser; Sean-Chance Singleton as implementation manager EMEA; and Rachael Bowles as office manager.

Charlie Wade, EMEA managing director at VTS, said: “The UK and EMEA is a fast-growing market for VTS. Hiring a team with an extensive track record will enable us to keep up with demand and continue providing the solutions that our clients need.

“As landlords look to navigate a post-pandemic world, a digital marketplace which enables them to advertise their space effectively will be essential. We are excited to continue our growth as we keep up the pace in our role as the expert bridge between technology and real estate.”

Nick Romito, chief executive of VTS, said: “VTS is on a strong growth trajectory globally, and we are pleased to be expanding our team in the UK and Europe so that we can continue to remain at the forefront of providing essential solutions for commercial real estate.”
