What’s coming next week in auctions

Clive Emson’s five-day sale takes place next week, with auctions in Chelmsford, Maidstone, Brighton, Saltash and Southampton. The catalogue includes a 0.27-acre mixed-use development opportunity with views over Dover town and Dover Castle and guided at £300,000-350,000. Clive Emson will offer more than 140 properties across the week.

A petrol station and adjacent bungalow on a main road in Cheshire is among the lots at the John Butters Bee sale on 12 June in Stoke-on-Trent. The site in Sandbach is guided at £550,000-plus. The business is currently trading and the property is being sold with vacant possession on completion. John Butters Bee will offer 84 lots at the sale.

A derelict three-floor, 12-room period house in the upmarket Mayals area of Swansea will go under the hammer at Dawsons’ sale in the city on 14 June. The property, not far from Clyne golf club, is guided at £650,000.

A Grade II listed merchant’s house dating back to 1700 will be up for auction on 16 June at Bill Jackson’s sale in Hereford. The property, on Widemarsh Street, features an original staircase and fireplaces and is guided at £85,000-£90,000. It is being sold with consent for conversion into three self-contained apartments.
