Which? stepped up its campaign to stamp out rogue estate agents today with the launch of a website which allows people to share their “home-moving nightmares”.
The consumer watchdog said it wanted to use the stories to build evidence for its ‘Move It’ campaign for a government clamp down on bad practice.
The site – www.which.co.uk/moveit – is a one-stop-shop for home buyers.
It also includes stress-busting tips on buying and selling and advice on how to tackle rogue estate agents. It also provides help for Scottish home movers and for anyone buying abroad.
Jess Day, the site’s Web Editor, said: “Which? has decided to wage a web war against rogue estate agents who are getting away with all sorts of scams.
“If you have had a home moving nightmare then visit our ‘Move It’ site and send us your story.”
