Whitbread has dismissed suggestions that it might sell its Beefeater restaurant chain.
The restaurants will be subject to a fresh review after disappointing sales figures.
Whitbread has tried to boost trade by renovating several sites to new formats such as Grillbar and Out & Out, leaving 205 Beefeaters.
More conversions could follow. The company said some of the properties were showing their age.
