Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White is to mark his debut in Glasgow by opening a new restaurant at the Hotel Indigo in the city.
Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill will be situated on the ground floor of the hotel located at 75 Waterloo Street and will open in late August this year.
The Michelin star chef said: “It’s been a long time in the planning, but I’m absolutely delighted to open my first city centre restaurant in Glasgow – a city that I love.”
The restaurant will offer “affordable glamour” catering for different budgets.
The news follows last week’s announcement by Pierre White that he is to also open his second restaurant in Stratford upon Avon, West Midlands.
Called Marco’s New York Italian, it will offer Italian-American cuisine at the Chapel Street located eaterie, which is also due to open in August.
The chef also has a Steakhouse Bar & Grill located on the top floor of The Cube in central Birmingham.
