London & Quadrant has submitted plans for a major residential scheme on its Safestore warehouse site in Whitechapel, E1.
The Stockwool-designed proposals are for 609 flats – 433 for private sale – across four blocks of up to 25 storeys, 35,929 sq ft of offices aimed at SMEs, and 1,000 cycle spaces.
L&Q bought the 3.5-acre site on Stepney Way, occupied by a 267,500 sq ft Safestore, for £41.1m in 2013. DP9 is planning consultant.
