Wimpey City unveils plans for Leeds residential scheme

George Wimpey City has unveiled plans for its Green Bank residential-led scheme in Leeds.

The seven-block complex will include over 800 flats, offices and shops .

The site for Green Bank is located south west of the city centre, at the junction of Globe Road and Whitehall Road, on the south bank of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal.

Six of the blocks will comprise between six and 15-storeys. The seventh will rise to 30 storeys.

Planning consent has already been obtained and construction is expected to start in spring 2006.
