Wincor Nixdorf takes space in Dartford

Wincor Nixdorf has leased 14,983 sq ft at Crossways Business Park, Dartford, from landlord Barclays.

The retail IT solutions group has taken a 10-year lease on the two-storey Drake House.

The property was owned and, until recently, occupied by Barclays, which also leases the Meridian House offices in the same park.

It will undergo a refurbishment prior to Wincor Nixdorf taking occupation in October.

The company is relocating from offices at Jupiter House at Orbital Business Park in Dartford.

Jonathan Gardiner, director of Savills, who acted for the vendor, said: “There was significant competition for the building so we are pleased to have been able to secure it, particularly as Wincor Nixdorf wished to remain within the Dartford area and Drake House provided the ideal opportunity to do so.

“The building will operate as a business centre and allow for projected growth plans over the next year.”

Savills acts for Wincor Nixdorf throughout Europe. Barclays was represented by Atisreal.
