British Land’s new flexible workspace brand, Storey, has agreed lettings to WiredScore and Platform360 at Broadgate, EC2, taking the total Storey space leased across British Land’s portfolio to 58,000 sq ft.
WiredScore, the company behind the Wired international digital connectivity rating system, has taken 900 sq ft at Appold Studios, while digital advertising company Platform360 has taken 1,600 sq ft at 2 FA (2 Finsbury Avenue), complementing recent lettings at the building to Innovate Finance and Starling Bank.
They join the digital arm of home improvement Kingfisher, which took 25,000 sq ft of Storey space earlier this year at 2 FA.
Storey was established in June to meet growing demand from small and medium-sized businesses as well as short-term or project space for larger customers. Storey is currently operational across 85,000 sq ft at Appold Studios and 2FA at Broadgate, and International House on Ealing Broadway. Storey is fast becoming an integral part of the campus offering, with 50,000 sq ft currently being fitted out at Regent’s Place and Paddington Central.
Storey offers open-plan and customisable offices, meeting and collaboration space, and shared facilities including showers, bike racks and shared kitchen areas. It is supported by British Land’s property management arm, Broadgate Estates.
Leases are “simple, jargon-free and all-inclusive”, covering rent, business rates and service charges, secure, fully backed-up WiFi, reception service, cleaning and maintenance and office furniture.
