Wirefox has bought a 294,000 sq ft office block, City Park, formerly the WD and HO Wills tobacco and cigar factory, on the edge of Glasgow city centre for £41m.
The five-storey building underwent a major redevelopment in 2002 to convert it to offices, and is currently occupied on a multi-let basis.
The City Park deal is the latest in a number of Scottish purchases made by Holywood-based Wirefox, including its £43.5m acquisition of Glasgow’s Capella building in August.
This followed the purchases of Glasgow’s Rockford portfolio and Silvan House in Edinburgh earlier this year. Last year Wirefox acquired the Southergate Centre, a retail-led scheme in Dumfries town centre.
In July Wirefox completed the acquisition of CastleCourt shopping centre in Belfast for £125m from Hermes Investment Management.
Wirefox was advised by MacRoberts LLP and Derek Paterson of DPL, alongside Belfast-based Davidson McDonnell.
