Wirral council has signed an agreement with local developer Carpenter Investments to work up plans for a £10m design-led waterfront hotel scheme.
The development, known as the Sail, is to be located on the site of the existing sailing school in
Carpenter is co-founded by David Brewitt, who operates the boutique Hope Street Hotel in
The hotel will include a restaurant, bar, spa, retailing and conference facilities but its size has not yet been confirmed.
The developer has appointed architect Studio Egret West to work on the scheme.
