Mark Woodrow has left Grainger to set up BTR Partners, a build-to-rent development and advisory business.
Woodrow worked as director of development at Grainger for ten years, during which time he led a team delivering a £750m portfolio of build-to-rent housing across the UK, including sites in Macaulay Walk and Clapham.
He previously worked at Brookfield Multiplex, Sweett and WSP’s Mouchel.
BTR Partners acts as originator and developer for build-to-rent opportunities and provides development management and bespoke consultancy for investors, developers and public sector organisations.
It claims to have developed and advised on modern private rented homes valued in total at more than £100m.
Woodrow left Grainger at the end of September, and the company does not have plans to replace him, having filled a number of senior roles in recent months.
In April, Mike Keaveney joined Grainger as director of land and development, after Paul McGowan was appointed director of land at the start of the year.
