Work kicks off at kidbrooke

Work began on Berkeley’s £1bn regeneration of the Ferrier Estate in Kidbrooke, SE3, this week.


The 20-year project, which involves the demolition of the estate and the building of 4,000 homes, was given £30m by the Homes and Communities Agency so that workcould start.


The project will include schools, healthcare buildings, 30,000 sq ft of shops and officesand a transport hub.


Southern Housing Group will build the affordable homes.
