US software company Workday has signed a lease at M&G and Marlet Property Group’s College Square in Dublin, in the largest single European office letting since 2021.
The company will occupy the entirety of the 22-storey building’s super-prime office space, which amounts to around 416,000 sq ft. The building is comprised of a total of 540,000 sq ft of commercial space, as well as 54 apartments and 17,000 sq ft of retail.
The office will become home to Workday’s 2,000 Ireland-based employees. These will be condensed from the company’s two offices in the city at the Dockline Building on Mayor Street Lower and the Kings Building at 152-155 Church Street.
Assal Yavari, vice-president of real estate at Workday, said: “Dublin is Workday’s headquarters in the EMEA region, and this move to College Square signifies our commitment to further investment and growth in the country. We’re excited to bring our talented Dublin teams together under one roof, where we will drive AI innovation, deepen our engagement within the Dublin technology community and grow our European presence.”
