Workspace to build in Stratford

Kingsland-trading-estate-Bristol-THUMB.jpegWorkspace Group has been granted planning permission for the redevelopment of the Marshgate industrial estate in Stratford, E15.

The two-and-a-half acre site contains 93,000 sq ft of light industrial space and was valued at £14m in September this year.

Workspace plans to replace the existing buildings with 200 residential units and a new 34,000 sq ft business centre.

Jamie Hopkins, chief executive of Workspace, said: “We are delighted to have been granted planning permission for a new business centre in Stratford and see this as great news for new and growing companies in the area, who will benefit from the new space we’re providing.”
