Workspace has received planning permission for a 2.3-acre mixed-use redevelopment at its Chocolate Factory and Parma House properties in Wood Green, Haringey, N22.
The plans are for 230 new homes and 26,000 sq ft of office space, and involve the loss of 89,000 sq ft of office and light industrial space.
The Chocolate Factory is already undergoing refurbishment to provide 60,000 sq ft of upgraded space and 20,000 sq ft of new office space within the residential development.
Plans also include a new public square and a pedestrian and cycle link connecting Haringey Heartlands with Wood Green Common.
Jamie Hopkins, chief executive of Workspace, said: “This consent at the Chocolate Factory adds to our pipeline of refurbishment and redevelopment projects.”
