World of Golf in New Malden, Surrey, has been sold to a consortium of private investors.
The 9-acre site, which was sold by Ashtour, had a £9m guide price.
It includes a two-tier 60-bay driving range, Jurassic Encounter Adventure Golf, an 18-hole family course, a 5,500 sq ft golf shop and Costa Coffee.
Mark Sheehan, managing director at Coffer Corporate Leisure, which advised the private consortium, said: “World of Golf New Malden is a well-established, popular and profitable leisure business with high-quality facilities and family entertainment opportunities. What attracted the consortium to the site was also the potential for further leisure-based development in areas of the site which are currently under utilised, and the location and catchment areas within the M25.”
Christie + Co acted for Ashtour.
