Wrenbridge / Gleeson plan £10m Staffs warehouse

A joint venture between Wrenbridge Land and Gleeson Properties is speculatively building a £10m warehouse at a Staffordshire business park, after paying Morston Assets £2.8m for a seven-acre site.

The land – at Kingswood Lakeside, just south of Cannock – already has outline permission for B1, B2 and B8 uses.

Detailed plans for a 126,000 sq ft warehouse have been submitted, and construction is expected to be completed by the year-end.

Kingswood Lakeside spans 100 acres and has previously attracted a 400,000 sq ft distribution centre for Unilever.

North Rae Sanders acted for Wrenbridge and King Sturge for Morston.  Both have been retained as letting agents.

Wrenbridge and Gleeson’s most recent joint venture in the Midlands was another speculative shed scheme, at Ravensbank Business Park, near Redditch. The 149,000 sq ft warehouse was built and let in just fifteen months from site acquisition.
