Freight forwarding firm XPand Logistics has taken a 28,700 sq ft prelet at Network Space’s Broadheath Networkcentre in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
The scheme, which will total 206,000 sq ft of workspace across 25 units, recently let 41,500 sq ft to Maersk. More than 35% of the site is now let in advance of practical completion.
Bansco is delivering the development on behalf of Network Space, with work at the 11.5-acre former Cartwright headquarters at Atlantic Street in Greater Manchester due to complete this autumn.
Simon Eaton, senior development manager at Network Space, said: “This is testament to the quality of the scheme, its sustainability credentials and its prime south Manchester location.”
The regeneration is targeting EPC A and BREEAM Very Good ratings, while the steel and concrete structures on the site have been reused and recycled in the new scheme.
The scheme is being supported with a £23.25m loan from Trafford Council.
Savills and B8 are letting agents.
