Developer Xpercity has submitted plans to Stockport Council to turn the former offices of the AA into more than 100 flats.
Xpercity bought the 62,464 sq ft Lambert House earlier this year, with ambitions to convert it into residential.
A formal planning application for the scheme, known as Weavers Yard, has now been lodged and sets out detailed plans for converting the office block into 107 flats.
Alongside the flats, which will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, Xpercity’s plans for Weavers Yard also include a gym for residents and cycle storage for 108 bikes.
