Allied London has unveiled plans for a fintech incubator at the XYZ Building in Spinningfields, Manchester.
The Vault will be a 20,000 sq ft incubator for innovative companies and start-ups in the financial technology industry. It is due to open towards the end of 2016.
Allied London said it will differ from the average co-working space by offering greater security, careful selection criteria and a supportive community.
The incubator has been sponsored by multiple financial and professional institutions.
Spinningfields estate director Chris Reay said: “Spinningfields has disrupted Manchester’s traditional commercial core and has become a place where leading corporate institutions are clustered, from the main banks to newer organisations such as Worldpay. Where XYZ differs is that we are delivering a culture, a brand more than a building, a structure with its own personality. We believe this is the ideal platform for fintech.”
The XYZ building, which totals 160,000 sq ft, is fully let to occupiers including Global Radio, Shoosmiths and NCC Group.
