Global investment manager York Capital Management has teamed up with Mark Swetman’s LS Estates to buy a refurbishment opportunity in Moorgate, EC2. The firm, run by billionaire James Dinan and partly owned by Credit Suisse, has exchanged contracts to buy 30-34 Moorgate, EC2, from Royal London Asset Management in an off-market deal for more than £21m. The vacant 28,000 sq ft office block has consent for a single-floor extension and refurbishment. GM Real Estate acted for Royal London; Deloitte Real Estate advised the purchasers.
