YouSpotProperty.com has its sights set on expansion into cities beyond London, such as Manchester to build on its success.
The company identifies abandoned sites, locates the owner, buys the property and manages the renovation before selling them on the market. YouSpot gives Londoners retail vouchers for tip-offs and a 1% cut of the final selling price. It has paid out vouchers to 300 people and has sold 100 properties from tip-offs. It hopes to buy more derelict homes faster, following a recent £1m bank loan.
