Spanish fashion retailer Zara, aims to double UK store numbers over the next 12 months.
The retailer has seven British shops, the most recent of which opened on London’s Oxford Street last year.
Zara is now in negotiations for eight stores and a source close to the retailer said the new shops will be in city centres, with openings in Ireland being considered.
Zara has more than 450 stores in 29 countries.
