Fashion retailer Zara is the latest tenant at Capital Shopping Centres’ 1.3m sq ft Lakeside shopping centre.
The retailer has taken a 15,952 sq ft store, which is scheduled to open in spring of 2005.
Other recent openings include Vodafone, which expanded into a 2,774 sq ft store in August. Retailers Kaos (2,161 sq ft), Heroes (594 sq ft), Coast (1,486 sq ft), Oneida (869 sq ft) and Kino (452 sq ft) all opened stores during October.
Robert Dyas relocated to a 4,297 sq ft store last month and Sole Trader (1,468 sq ft) and Angelz (1,645 sq ft) are due to open before Christmas.
Lakeside has nearly 300 shops, four department stores, cafes and restaurants, a seven-screen multiplex cinema, 13,000 free car-parking spaces and bus and train stations.
