Boutique hotel company Zetter Group is to open its first regional hotel at Allied London’s London Road Fire Station in Manchester.
The size has yet to be confirmed, but existing Zetter hotels have between 13 and 59 bedrooms. Russell Sage Studios will design the interior. Zetter was founded in 2003 by Mark Sainsbury and Michael Benyan, the duo behind the Moro restaurant in Clerkenwell, EC1. It operates two hotels in Clerkenwell, EC1 , (pictured) and another in Marylebone, W1.
The Manchester hotel will anchor a mixed-use development including a cocktail bar, spa and co-working space over five floors. Allied London will submit a planning application in the autumn.
