Zillow will cut 350 jobs, it said after completing the purchase of property website Trulia.
Some 280 duplicated sales and administration jobs have been cut, and a further 70 will be eliminated by the end of the first half. The joint company, to be known as Zillow Group, will have a workforce of around 2,000.
The final purchase price for Trulia was revised down to $2.5b, reflecting a fall in the price of Zillow’s shares since the offer was first made.
