Zoopla continues on acquisition trail with new site buy

 

Property website Zoopla has bought Houseprices.co.uk  for an undisclosed price as it continues its expansion drive.

 

Houseprices.co.uk is a site which offers free access to Land Registry house price information for consumers. It will operate as a separate brand and website but will link to Zoopla.co.uk.

 

Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of Zoopla said: “This acquisition adds to the growing list of websites that we now either own directly or power exclusively, extending our reach even further and allowing us to offer our agent and developer members exposure to a unique and unrivalled online audience.

 

Houseprices.co.uk has built a very strong following over the years by offering a great service, which we intend to continue.”

 

Zoopla is a property portal which displays property listings, price information, property data and market trends, including a value estimate for every homes in the UK.
