Zoopla invests £1m in property technology start-ups

Zoopla has invested £1m in four property technology start-ups, part of its plan to become the most useful resource for consumers and members.

The four companies comprise PropertyDetective, which provides neighbourhood research reports; FixFlo, an online repair reporting platform; Landbay, a peer-to-peer lender; and Trussle, an online mortgage adviser.

Zoopla’s founder, Alex Chesterton, said it had made investments in each company and had agreed exclusive long-term partnerships.
