Planning expert Faraz Baber has left business lobby group London First to join planning and design consultancy Terence O’Rourke.
Baber was executive director at London First, and led his firm on lobbying around property, planning and development. He was also policy director at London Councils.
He joins Terence O’Rourke as an equity director.

Baber said: “I have spent decades helping to shape planning policies and pave the way for easier routes to regeneration and development.
“Joining Terence O’Rourke provides me with an exciting opportunity to help our clients deliver projects that benefit from the policy I and my peers have helped change.”
Managing director Tim Hancock said: “We have known Faraz for many years through our partnership with London First and he is one of the most influential and well connected planning policy makers out there.”
