The West End HQ of Carter Jonas has been sold to an Asian party.
Schroders-managed WELPUT has sold One Chapel Place, W1, to a Hong Kong client of Jeremy Titchen’s Rockhopper Real Estate – for close to the £60m asking price, which reflected a 3.55% net initial yield.
The Vere Street purchase comes almost three months after CBRE and Strutt & Parker were instructed to bring it to market.
The 35,000 sq ft office block completed in 2012. Other tenants include Johnson & Johnson and Costar.
Rents at the property are typically more than £70 per sq ft.
It marks WELPUT’s second sale of 2015 after it sold 21 Tothill Street, SW1, for £55.4m earlier this month.
