Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has confirmed it is opening its first W hotel in Scotland at TH Real Estate’s St James scheme in Edinburgh.
It will open a 200-bedroom hotel which will be the centrepiece of the 1.7m sq ft St James development.
From March 2015: TH Real Estate books Jestico + Whiles for Edinburgh hotel
Designed by architecture and interior design practice Jestico + Whiles, in conjunction with Allan Murray Architects, the 12-storey W Edinburgh will feature a striking exterior façade.
Starwood already operates the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh, as well as luxury resort Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire, which is owned by Donald Trump. It has 46 W Hotels across the world.
